Studying the Role of Leadership in Services Provided to Citizens through Urban Management Mediation

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the present study is to study the role of leadership in the services provided to citizens through the mediation of urban management.
Method: The research method of this study is descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of this study is comprised of managers of Tehran municipality (2000 Persons). 322 persons were selected as sample. Questionnaire was used for data collection and construct validity and reliability were assessed through factor analysis. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and pls software.
Results: The findings of this study showed that leadership has a positive and significant effect on urban management, urban management on services provided to citizens and leadership with a mediating role of urban management on services provided to citizens.
Results: It is suggested to make a fundamental and fundamental change in the planning, management and executive system of city affairs so as to provide the basis for the coordination of various organizations involved in the city; Consider the status of the city and the city's plans to achieve the desired urban development plans.
