Abstract

Introduction and Aim: Tourist sidewalks connect dynamic urban spaces and tourists and can be considered the main factor of tourism development and the active presence of tourists in urban spaces in addition to their economic and social role. Hamadan city, especially Haghmatane hill, despite having wide capacities, needs more amenities for urban tourism. The main purpose of this research is to investigate successful international experiences and compare urban sidewalks and identify these capabilities in the physical space of sidewalks in Hegmatane area.
Method: This research deals with the qualitative analysis of these sidewalks in order to see how much it has been able to be a basis for improving the quality of urban life and attracting tourists in this area, and on the other hand, it is a basis for using positive experiences in other similar pedestrian areas. to provide
Findings: Holding various ceremonies, rituals and festivals appropriate to the site and cultural heritage in the complex can help to attract the audience and connect the site with the city. There is a significant difference between domestic and foreign tourists in terms of the time of presence of tourists in the complex, in such a way that domestic tourists mostly visit this area during Nowruz holidays and after that in summer, respectively in the months of Shahrivar, August and a smaller number in July. They visit After that, the complex hosted more foreign tourists in the months of April, May and November respectively.
Conclusion: successful global experiences have shown that the planning and design of pedestrian spaces will be successful when, in addition to considering the physical factors, social, cultural, climatic conditions, psychological and behavioral patterns of the people, the needs and tastes of the local people are taken into consideration. Therefore, in the planning and organizing of pedestrian paths, it is necessary to identify and structurally and qualitatively analyze the mutual relations of the movement system of pedestrians with other aspects of the stability of the area along with the balance and balance of people's lives. For this reason, a comprehensive and principled approach should be taken to organize the sidewalks, such as shortening the accesses, full security and health coverage of the sidewalks, compliance with the requirements of comfort and variety in the route, building and creating desirable views, providing the necessary equipment for movement in day and night and providing social grounds for sustainable local participation.
