Pedestrian with approach urban design and fitting furniture (Case Study: Intermediate between Square 1 and 2 Square Sadeghieh)

Abstract

Urban furniture plays an important role in creating the sense of identity, freshness and readability of the city, and the most commonly used term in the field of urban equipment is considered to be the set of components that are arranged in urban spaces. The present study was designed with the aim of designing and fitting urban furniture on the sidewalks between the first to second Sedghieh squares. The research method is descriptive-analytic and based on a questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient as well as factor analysis and their valuation using Likert scale 5 was performed and the reliability of the questionnaires was obtained using Cronbach's alpha method. In factor analysis, four factors (socio-economic, physical-space, traffic access, urban design) were identified as the most important factors in the design of urban furniture design. The findings show that urban design factor includes: aesthetics, urban furniture quality, sense of location in the roadway, nature's effectiveness in the urban space and the presence of urban furniture integrity, the most important factors in the design of urban furniture are the study area. Accordingly, it can be said that the effect of colors in urban environment, the existence of pauses for rest and stopping in the environment, modernity and newness of furniture, etc. As the most important factors in designing and fitting urban furniture in the roadway to the study area has been identified.
